Smarts Alitherm 300 Solution for Residential and Light Commercial Applications

 

The Smarts Alitherm 300 range is often used to create traditional casement windows in keeping with the traditional styling of timber products but is equally able to fulfil the requirements of a contemporary window aesthetic for use in modern homes or offices.

Often recommended for ground and first-floor windows, you can choose multi-point locks for added security, or cock-spur locking handles if security requirements are less stringent. The windows are a good fit for both residential and light commercial applications, such as residential properties, factors, nurseries and care homes.

The Smarts Alitherm 300 profiles feature Smart’s thermal break technology that effectively creates a barrier between inside and outside. This works to reduce thermal transmittances, offering a significantly lower U Value and compliance with the stringent requirements of Document L 2010. Used with the correct glass, compliant windows can offer an A, B, or C rating.

Available in a range of standard and non-standard colours, it is possible to customise the window design with metallic, dual colour, Smart’s Sensations textured, and Alchemy anodised effect finishes.

Smarts Alitherm 300 Flexible Installation

The Smarts Alitherm 300 is available as top hung, side hung or fixed light windows with a range of outer frames for new openings, timber or stone subframes or direct fix to brick. They are ideal for replacing old windows as well as for new build projects as there is a choice of ovolo, chamfered or square edges.

Customisable Design

Windows are available as internally or externally beaded, and options include sash, mullion and glazing bead for a more modern or traditional look. The Alitherm 300 series also offers a range of frame add-ons such as cills, ancillary profiles and bay-poles.

Dimensions

The Alitherm 300 windows have 53mm frames and can be fitted to stone or timber subframes with an equal or odd leg arrangement. For direct fix or replacing old windows, a 76mm deep outer frame is the ideal solution. Windows can size up to 700mm wide by 1400mm high (for side hung) and 1300mm wide by 1400mm high (for top hung).

Our powder-coated aluminium Alitherm 300 windows are available in the standard and Smart Systems range of colours. Our three standard colours (White Gloss, Anthracite Grey and Black) have faster lead times.
