RAL 7016
RAL 7016 anthracite grey colours of Aluminium bifolding doors is obtained by the professional application of paint colours to the surface of the aluminium, called powder coating. The process first conditions the aluminium through a series of acid treatment plants removing all traces of moisture and grease. Every body’s hands have moisture on so handling the metal is done using specialist gloves to ensure the aluminium is not contaminated.
After the material has been cleaned through six different cleaning solutions it is dried and ready for powder coating. The paint is electro-statically applied and heated in an oven to ensure the colour is durable and long lasting.
RAL Colours
RAL is the European colour standard system used in architecture, construction and industry. Colours are the industry standard for aluminium coatings. There are over 200 to choose from.
At the bifolding door factory we stock the following RAL colours ensuring fast delivery times.
- RAL 7016 Anthracite grey
- RAL 9010 White
- RAL 9005 Black
The above colours are in stock which allows us to offer fast delivery times. All other colours are of course available but take an additional one or two weeks to obtain the colour.
Colour choice
We can send you a pdf which has a good representation of the colours. In this modern internet and App world, we are able to send you a link to an app for your phone which will allow you to select your RAL colour we then send you an actual sample of the colour for your confirmation. Our showrooms have doors and windows in various colours and we have colour swatches for you to choose from.
If your doors are installed our professional surveyor will have samples for you to make your selection.
