The Schuco ASE 80 Lift and Slide features a level threshold making the access connection from inside to outside seamless. Lightweight, durable aluminium construction allows for increased vent weights and larger installations, without compromising on design or convenience. The product can be installed level with internal and external floor if the building has been prepared correctly.

The Design Line’s interlock section is narrow, with an ultra slimline 40mm interlock section available for maximum transparency. This, paired with the reduced face widths of the vent frames, offers a more slender appearance. Even the fittings components are concealed beneath a panel in the vent.

The doors are available in single, double and triple-track systems to match with your design needs. Up to three tracks allows for larger apertures and greater installation flexibility, with maximum dimensions of 3.5 m x 3.2 m or 3.2 m x 3.5 m. They can be opened to one side or from the middle.

SmartStop brings the lift and slide panel to a full stop at a finger safe distance from the frame allowing the user to safely complete the closing and locking of the door.
SmartClose brings the lift and slide panel to a stop at a finger safe distance and continues slowly pulling the door into the frame. The user can then complete the locking of the door.
Tip-tronic opening and closing the full monty this unlocks and opens the door at a touch of a button or remote. It can then also close and lock the door. The closing operation has a safety feature if anything gets in its way the closing operation stops.
What is the difference between the Schuco ASE 60 and the Schuco ASE 80?
The key differences between the two models are the U-values, frame depth and glass thickness. In general, the ASE60 is a good match for new build applications, and for replacement projects, the deeper frame depth of the Schuco ASE 80 is sometimes the better option.

Thermal insulation, in particular, is a feature of this range. For projects with more stringent requirements (up to passive house standard), a basic depth of 80mm is available. In addition, the new system range offers a higher level of modularity and can integrate many more functions.
With quality and technical excellence at the heart of all of Schuco’s product ranges, the Schuco ASE80 lift and slide is no exception. The range comes standard with fully insulated aluminium sections, security testing to comply with the latest standards, exceptional weather performance and a durable powder-coated finish.
Not only are the doors technically advanced, but their design is flawless. As winners of the Red Dot Design Award for overall appearance, the doors are sleek, offering minimalist sight-lines, concealed grooves, and flush locking points.
The flush locking design sets Schuco apart from their competitors who tend to feature more prominent locking systems. Schuco, in comparison, has adapted the door’s design to make the locking components less visible for a sleeker appearance. You can also choose where the bolt pins are located; they can either be fixed in the vent frame (at an additional cost) or in the outer frame (the standard option). This reduces the amount of visible hardware and offers a cleaner overall design.
The sliding doors vents can be on the inside or the outside of the frame as the doors are symmetrically identical. In addition, many of the sliding panels’ components are hidden behind panels that enhance the overall appearance of the door.
Available upgrades include the Schüco SmartStop and SmartClose design features. The soft-close mechanisms are a relatively new addition for sliding doors and work to slow the door down as it approaches the frame. This is supported by the stopping mechanism that draws the door slowly into the closed position for a more intuitive, responsive door panel.
